Ivan Hmelina

Associate

Ivan advises clients in a wide range of corporate and commercial law matters and regularly participates in projects involving due diligence. He assists in drafting of transaction documentation in financing and M&A projects. Ivan represents clients in corporate disputes and administrative procedures. He provides guidance in a variety of regulatory matters, with special emphasis on personal data compliance.

Lana Štojs
Attorney at Law – Partner

Lana specializes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, capital markets and securities-related law. 

She has substantial experience advising on numerous high-profile M&A and capital market transactions in diverse industry sectors, including banking and financial services, insurance, energy, healthcare, consumer goods, retail and telecoms. She also has wide ranging experience in labor law and strategic employment aspects of M&A deals and restructuring procedures. Lana regularly advises on joint ventures and business’ set-up, corporate governance, shareholders’ activism, commercial contracts as well as on securities compliance matters. 

According to Chambers & Partners 2019, “she makes every effort to provide exceptional client service and approaches all aspects in depth” and is described as “brilliant and very experienced transactions lawyer”.

Chambers & Partners’ 2017 quoted that Lana “is frequently seen advising on prominent M&A transactions including on due diligence, regulatory and competition issues” and that clients appreciate her “fast, straightforward, diligent and precise” nature.

Anja Maljković

Associate

Anja is focused on general commercial, employment and corporate law. She assists in formation of new business entities, conducts due diligence exercises in diverse industries and advises clients on regulatory issues.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb where she was an active member of the European Law Students’ Association.

Matea Gospić Plazina
Attorney at Law – Partner

Matea specializes in domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments, fundraisings and has expertise in a range of high-profile commercial real estate transactions. 

Her field of expertise includes advising on share and asset deals, due diligence, corporate law, real estate asset management, project development and complex leasing transactions. She has significant experience in restructurings and bankruptcy proceedings and in a range of regulatory and compliance matters including sustainability and ESG. In addition, she regularly represents clients in connection with their strategic intellectual property, data and technology-focused transactions. Given the wide range of her activities, she advises clients from various industries, including IT, private equity, construction, energy, hospitality, FMCG etc.  

Along with a law degree, Matea holds an MBA degree from the Swiss School of Business and Management.
